Sculpey Clay Softener & Thinner er mýkingar- og þynniefni fyrir fjölliðuleir (polymer clay). Það er notað til að:

  • mýkja harðan eða þurran fjölliðuleir sem er orðinn stífur
  • gera leirinn mýkri og vinnanlegri (auðveldara að rúlla út, móta og blanda)
  • þynna fjölliðuleir til að búa til “slip”/leirmauk eða til að líma saman leirstykki (lítil viðgerðar- og samsetningarvinna)

Hvernig er það notað?

  • Settu örlítið magn (nokkrir dropar) á leirinn og hnjóddu/veltu þar til hann mýkist.
  • Bættu við smám saman — of mikið getur gert leirinn of klístraðan eða of mjúkan.
  • Má einnig blanda við leir til að gera þynnri blöndu fyrir áferð/viðgerðir
Sculpey® Clay Softener & Thinner can be used to soften polymer clay and thin Liquid Sculpey®. Just a few drops make all the difference.
It improves the texture of dry, crumbled clay, creating the perfect consistency. Add a few drops of this polymer clay softener to stiff clay and knead it in thoroughly to soften and pliable.
Works great for thinning Liquid Sculpey® if it gets too thick. Simply add a few drops and stir gently.
Twist the cap for precise flow control.
Perfect for All Brands of Oven Bake Clay – The Clay Softener & Thinner is perfect for use with not only Sculpey oven bake clay, you can use it with all other brands of polymer oven bake clay or liquid clays!Tips for Using Clay Softener & Thinner –

    Add the softener one drop at a time and work it in often to revitalize previously inert clay.
    If you accidentally use too much clay softener, try pulling some out of your creation by using heavy books to press your clay between sheets of paper.
    As with Polymer Clay or Liquid Sculpey, avoid contact of Sculpey® Clay Softener & Thinner with any surfaces as it may damage them. Always protect your work surface when working with clay!
    Add one drop at a time to Liquid Sculpey®, stirring completely. Check the consistency of the Liquid Sculpey® before adding more to ensure you achieve the desired consistency.
    Twist the cap for precise flow control, open halfway for detail work.
