KeraSoy Pillar is a blend specifically developed for the production of block candles. It
is suitable for further blending with fragrance oils and oil-soluble dyes. Kerasoy block candle
blend is biodegradable and vegan. No animal products are used and no
animal testing has been conducted in its production.
Due to the presence of genetically modified soybean crops on the market, we are
unable to guarantee completely non-GMO sources, but the manufacturer aims to use non-GMO sources
whenever possible.

KeraSoy Pillar does not require any additives, except for fragrance and color if desired. It is
advisable not to heat the wax above 85°C or heat for extended periods of time.
Wax should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct heat, sunlight and
moisture.

Molds should be clean and free of contaminants. They should be at least room
temperature, but preheating to approximately 45 – 50 °C may be beneficial.

Most dyes work with KeraSoy Pillar. When using
powder dyes, heat the wax to approximately 75°C, add the dye and mix until dissolved.

KeraSoy Pillar is designed for fragrance at levels between 5 – 10%.

Natural waxes tend to require larger wick sizes than traditional paraffin waxes.
Fragrance and color have a big influence on the best wick choice, so always test wicks if adding a different color or scent.

Temporary high temperatures (up to 90°C) have no negative effect as long as the wax
cools down quickly. Higher temperatures can cause the wax to discolour. Allow
the wax to cool to your desired filling temperature, add the fragrance and mix well.

The filling temperature may vary depending on the type & size of the mold. We recommend filling at a temperature of around 55 – 65 °C.

Cool the candles to room temperature (approximately 25°C). The candles should be undisturbed for 48 hours before test burning.
