What types of brushes are best suited for watercolour painting?

Good watercolour brushes are made of natural or synthetic hairs that hold water well. We recommend kolinsky or sable brushes for precision, and also good synthetic brushes from Da Vinci available at Föndurlist. Size depends on the project, but sizes 6-10 are usually suitable for most works.
