Getting started with clay
Clay modelling is a wonderful hobby for all ages. Whether you are making jewellery, figurines or just relaxing with your hands — clay gives you unlimited creative freedom.
Polymer clay (oven-bake)
Polymer clay cures in a regular home oven at 110–130°C. It comes in many colours, is easy to shape and becomes hard and durable after baking. This makes it perfect for jewellery, magnets, key rings and fine crafts that need to last.
Air-dry clay
Air-dry clay needs no oven — it simply hardens in air over 24–48 hours. It is great for larger projects, kids crafts and school work. You can paint it with acrylics after drying and seal with varnish for protection.
Tips for best results
Condition (knead) the clay well before you start — this makes it more pliable and easier to work. Use a clean, flat surface and wash your hands between colours to avoid colour transfer. When baking polymer clay, follow the manufacturer temperature exactly.

What tools do I need to start?
