Findings are the small components — clasps, jump rings, ear wires and crimps — that turn beads into finished, wearable jewellery. Jewellery wire and thread hold everything together; choose the gauge to suit your beads and design.
The basic tools
A few pliers (round-nose, flat-nose and cutters) cover most jewellery making. With those you can open and close rings, form loops and trim wire. A bead mat keeps everything from rolling away while you work.
