Essential drawing tools
Drawing is the foundation of all visual art. At Föndurlist you will find pencils, charcoal, pastels, erasers and paper for every level — from first sketches to exhibition-quality works.
Graphite pencils
Graphite pencils range from hard (H) for light, precise lines to soft (B) for dark, expressive strokes. A set from HB to 6B covers most drawing needs. Quality brands give smoother, more consistent marks.
Charcoal and pastels
Charcoal gives dramatic, deep blacks and is perfect for life drawing and expressive work. Soft pastels offer rich, blendable colour. Both are best on textured paper that grabs the pigment.
Coloured pencils
Coloured pencils like Prismacolor are wax-based and blend smoothly for detailed, layered colour work. Water-soluble coloured pencils can be brushed with water for a watercolour effect.
